Here is an interesting one that I think is simpler than I am making it. 2 Days ago my 2000 Ford E-150 with 4.2L V6 stalled and would not start. Started to tear it down to inspect and found the glue on the air filter had failed and allowed debris to clog the mass air flow sensor. cleaned it out and it started running again. went ahead and changed the oil at the same time and now it will start and run for a couple minutes and then start blowing white steam. steam gets real thick when I give it gas but dissipates quickly. Thinking I have a head gasket going bad but wondering if this is connected to the air flow sensor....
