I have a 1995 mitsubishi galant recently i have had a problem with the engine shutting off while i am driving. i can drive up too 4 or 5 miles at about 50 to 60 miles per hour suddenly the car will shut off and backfire one to two times then its is very difficult to get it started agian if at all i have no idea what could cause this ive checked the spark plugs they look fine so i am lost. note: it is a manual 4 cyclinder 16 valve.
