Most transmission oil changes should be every 50,000 miles or so depending on the type of fluid that is used (synthetic or not) and driving conditions.
You should use the same grade of oil that your engine calls for even though you have high mileage, most major oil manufactures make a high mileage oil in several grades.
Mobile one , Castrol , Pennzoil , Quaker State all make good quality high mileage oils.

A vehicle which has completed 213,000 km has a comsumption
of approximately 30 miles to a gallon of gasolene. What can be
done to increase its milage per gallon? This vehicle has an
engine of 1498 cc.
